Rajappa Iyer accompanied on Mridangam and Ghatam for stalwarts like [[Ariyakudi Ramanuja Iyengar|Ariyakudi]], [[Papanasam Sivan|Sivan]], T. K. Rangachari, [[M. D. Ramanathan]], [[M. Balamurali Krishna|Dr. Balamurali Krishna]], [[Chitti Babu (musician)|Chittibabu]], [[Lalgudi Jayaraman|Lalgudi G Jayaraman]], [[N.
