Created shortly before the [[2009 elections in India|2009 general elections]], it is one among 14 constituencies in [[Ranga Reddy district]]. It is part of 24 constituencies of [[Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation|GHMC]] and part of [[Malkajgiri (Lok Sabha constituency)|Malkajgiri Lok Sabha constituency]]. It covers the city of [[Lal Bahadur Nagar]] (popularly known as L. B. Nagar) and its surroundings.&lt;br /&gt;

[[Devireddy Sudheer Reddy]] is the first [[Member of the Legislative Assembly (India)|MLA]] elected in the L. B.
