&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Lal Nishan Party&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; (Red Flag Party, LNP) was a [[Communism|communist]] [[political party]] in the [[India]]n state of [[Maharashtra]]. LNP&amp;#039;s main work was trade union activism. The trade union of the party was called Sarva Shramik Sangh (SSS).&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The party publication was called &amp;#039;&amp;#039;Nave Parva&amp;#039;&amp;#039;. Earlier, SSS published a [[Marathi language|Marathi]] daily newspaper from [[Pune]] called &amp;#039;&amp;#039;Shramik Vichar&amp;#039;&amp;#039;.&lt;br /&gt;

During the 1980s, LNP developed a close cooperation with [[Kamgar Aghadi]].{{citation needed|date=January 2016}}&lt;br /&gt;

In 1988, a split occurred when a hardline section, critical of the [[Perestroika]], broke away and formed [[Lal Nishan Party (Leninvadi)]].&lt;br /&gt;
