&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Sir Lancelot Sanderson&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; {{post-nominals|country=GBR|KC}} (24 October 1863 – 9 March 1944) was a British [[Conservative Party (UK)|Conservative]] politician and judge in [[British India]].&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
A [[barrister]] of the [[Inner Temple]], he was appointed [[Recorder (judge)|Recorder]] of [[Wigan]] in 1901&amp;lt;ref&amp;gt;{{London Gazette|issue=27378|page=7472|date=19 November 1901}}&amp;lt;/ref&amp;gt; and [[took silk]] in 1903.&amp;lt;ref&amp;gt;{{London Gazette|issue=27531|page=1415|date=3 March 1903}}&amp;lt;/ref&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
He was elected as [[Member of Parliament]] (MP) for the [[Appleby (UK Parliament constituency)|Appleby division]] of [[Westmorland]] at the [[January 1910 United Kingdom general election|January 1910 general election]], regaining a formerly Conservative seat which had been held by [[Liberal Party (UK)|Liberal]] MPs since [[1900 United Kingdom general election|1900]].&amp;lt;ref name=&amp;quot;craig1918-1949&amp;quot;&amp;gt;{{cite book&lt;br /&gt;
