Singh was born on 2 May 1974 to I. D. == Career ==
Singh joined the Indian Police Service in 2000. In 2004, she was promoted to the rank of [[Senior Superintendent of Police]].
She was posted as [[Deputy Inspector General of Police]] (DIG) in 2013, as [[Inspector General of Police]] (IG) in 2018.<ref name=":0" /><ref name=":1" />

Singh has previously served as the IG/DIG of the [[Special Task Force (India)|Special Task Force]] (STF) in [[Gautam Buddha Nagar district|Gautam Buddha Nagar]] from 1 January 2018 to 5 March 2018.
