The Battle of Longewala was one of the first major [[engagement (military)|engagements]] in the western sector during the [[Indo-Pakistani War of 1971]], fought between assaulting [[Pakistani]] forces and [[India]]n defenders at the Indian border post of Longewala, in the [[Thar Desert]] of [[Rajasthan]] state in [[India]].The battle was fought between 120 Indian soldiers accompanied by 4 Hunter fighter aircraft and 2000-3000 Pakistani soldiers accompanied by 30-40 tanks.&lt;br /&gt;

There is no need to pay any entry fee. This Temple opens from 05:00 AM to 09:30 PM. The best time to visit this temple is between November to January. This Temple is under the Border Security Force. This Temple is also known as &amp;#039;Temple of Miracles&amp;#039;.&lt;br /&gt;

The Battle of Longewala was fought in the year 1971. The Place also involves mural of soldiers who lost their lives at the time of the war. To visit this place, you should not be required to pay any entry fee. Approximately, 01 to 02 hours will be needed to visit this place. This place opens from 10:00 AM to 06:00 PM.&lt;br /&gt;
