&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Lubanki&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;, also known as &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Labanki&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; or &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Lubani&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;, is an extinct [[Indo-Aryan languages|Indo-Aryan]] dialect that was formerly spoken by the [[Labana]] tribe in [[Punjab region|Punjab]].&amp;lt;ref&amp;gt;{{Cite book |title=Roma |publisher=Roma Publications |year=1983 |volume=7 |quote=Another unique feature was the language. The dialect is extinct among Labanas in Punjab, but is still spoken by [[Rajasthan]]i Labanas.&lt;br /&gt;

The dialect consisted of a mixture of different [[Vernacular|vernaculars]].&amp;lt;ref name=&amp;quot;:0&amp;quot; /&amp;gt; Some unique words were &amp;#039;&amp;#039;gauri&amp;#039;&amp;#039; (cow), &amp;#039;&amp;#039;chhora&amp;#039;&amp;#039; (son), &amp;#039;&amp;#039;bhut&amp;#039;&amp;#039; (devil), &amp;#039;&amp;#039;bhau&amp;#039;&amp;#039; (brother), &amp;#039;&amp;#039;dasa&amp;#039;&amp;#039; (hole), &amp;#039;&amp;#039;ladho&amp;#039;&amp;#039;, and &amp;#039;&amp;#039;baro&amp;#039;&amp;#039;.&amp;lt;ref name=&amp;quot;:0&amp;quot; /&amp;gt;&amp;lt;ref&amp;gt;{{Cite book |title=The Sikh Review, Volume 32, Issues 361-372 |publisher=Sikh Cultural Centre |location=Calcutta |pages=47}}&amp;lt;/ref&amp;gt; The dialect went into decline after the Lubana tribe started settling into a sedentary lifestyle.&amp;lt;ref name=&amp;quot;:0&amp;quot; /&amp;gt; In 1941, the weekly newspaper &amp;#039;&amp;#039;Prem Sandesh&amp;#039;&amp;#039; edited by Bawa Harnam Singh spoke against the dialect and other aspects of Labana culture, such as &amp;#039;&amp;#039;[[Ghagra choli|ghagra]]&amp;#039;&amp;#039;, &amp;#039;&amp;#039;[[choli]]&amp;#039;&amp;#039;, various ornaments, &amp;#039;&amp;#039;[[purdah]]&amp;#039;&amp;#039;, and other cultural aspects.&amp;lt;ref name=&amp;quot;:0&amp;quot; /&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;

Among [[Sikh]]s, the famous Labanki quote Guru Ladho Re (Found the Guru) was outspoken when [[Makhan Shah Labana]] identified the ninth successor of [[Nanak]], [[Guru Tegh Bahadur]].&lt;br /&gt;
