Ma Prem Usha died on July 17, 2008, in [[New Delhi, India]].<ref name=ht/> She was 70 years old.<ref name=ht/> She is survived by her husband, Lt. Col Raj Kumar Kapoor, her son Milin Kapoor and her 3 daughters, Ma Prem Ritambhara (Ritambhara Dewan) Sonia Pillai and Anjali Kapoor Ben-Sarfaradz.
