The Magadi tank is located in Magadi village of [[Shirhatti]] Taluk, [[Gadag District]]. From [[Gadag]] it is 26&nbsp;km, it is located on [[Gadag]]-[[Bangalore]] Road, from [[Shirhatti]] it is 8&nbsp;km, and from [[Lakshmeshwar]] 11&nbsp;km.
