It is about 30&amp;amp;nbsp;km from [[Jamshedpur]]. It has its own railway station which serves mainly local trains.&lt;br /&gt;

There is a barrage across the Subarnekha River at [[Galudih]].&lt;br /&gt;

The area shown in the map “forms a part of the [[Chota Nagpur Plateau]] and is a hilly upland tract”.
