The grants were of several kinds and were known under different expressions, such as &#039;&#039;jagir&#039;&#039;, &#039;&#039;samasthan&#039;&#039;, &#039;&#039;maktha&#039;&#039;, and &#039;&#039;inam&#039;&#039;.
