After hearing the [[Anti-Corruption Commission (Bangladesh)|Anti-Corruption Commission]]'s appeal, the [[Supreme Court of Bangladesh|Supreme Court]], in February 2015, scrapped the verdict of acquittal and directed the High Court to rehear the appeal of Munshi.
