According to legend, it is said that the temple existed from [[Treta Yuga]]. According to &amp;#039;&amp;#039;Baba Rambhushan Das Nirmohi&amp;#039;&amp;#039;, [[Hindu deities|Goddess]] [[Sita]] came worshipping to [[Phulhar]] &amp;#039;&amp;#039;Girija Devi&amp;#039;&amp;#039; for 12 years continuously.
