Karkathakudi is a small town and panchayat located in the Ramanathapuram district of Tamil Nadu state, India. The villages under the panchayat of Karkathakudi are Siruvandal, Peruvandal, Melapanaiyur, Keelapanaiyur, Gudalur, and Karungudi.
