AstroPay is a Latin America-based payment solutions provider for online transactions co-founded by Sergio Fogel and Andrés Bzurovski in 2009.[1] The company has offices in the United Kingdom and Latin America. In 2014, AstroPay was listed as one of the 15 Fintech Startups To watch in 2015 by Forbes magazine.[2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11]
The company, in May 2014, started a six months pilot program in China with their prepaid AstroPay Card that allowed Chinese consumers to pay for access to U.S. merchandise and services without revealing their banking information and by the end of October 2014, they sold $1 million USD in card value.[12]
