Ambalam is a small village in Nanguneri taluk, Tirunelveli District, Tamil Nadu, India.
Ambalam is two-part, South Ambalam and North Ambalam. North Ambalam people's religion is Christianity, cost nadar, more than 100 families live in North Ambalam. It has one middle school (CMS EVANJALICAL MIDDLE SCHOOL),[1] with around 100[2] students studying there. Ambalam [അമ്പലം] in Malayalam means a temple. E.g. Valanjambalam, Ambalappuzha etc. A temple is also called Kshethram in Malayalam.
