Amrapali Group of Institutions was founded in the year 1999. At present, Amrapali Group of Institutions is imparting professional education in the field of hospitality management, engineering, computer applications, commerce and business management.

The Amrapali Institutewas initially started as a single branch and has grown into a group of institution, which are offering higher education in the Nainital district of Uttarakhand, India.
The institute has separate hostel facilities for boys and girls, with recreation ground.

Kumaun University awards degrees for all the courses run by the Institute.The B. Tech., MBA, MCA & BHMCT programmes are duly approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of HRD, Government of India, New Delhi. The Bachelor of Education programme is approved by National Council for Teacher Education, Jaipur.
