The '''1982 Men's Hockey World Cup'''<ref>http://www.fih.ch/en/competitions-31-1982-mens-world-cup-world-cup</ref> was the fifth edition of the [[Hockey World Cup]], the quadrennial world championship for men's national [[field hockey]] teams organized by the [[International Hockey Federation|FIH]]. The event took place from 29 December 1981 to 12 January 1982 in [[Mumbai]] (Bombay), India.
