IndianPedia is a collaborative encyclopedia. Many questions can be resolved directly through the project's community and discussion pages.
Before contacting an administrator or the project team, consider:

💬 Article questions and discussions
For questions or disagreements concerning a specific article, use that article's talk page.
This allows other contributors to participate in the discussion and keeps the conversation associated with the relevant article.
Do not use private contact channels for ordinary editorial disagreements when a public article discussion would be appropriate.
🛡️ Vandalism, spam, and abuse
If you encounter vandalism, spam, harassment, disruptive editing, or another serious violation of IndianPedia policies, report it to an administrator.

Do not publish private information about another person.

For problems involving the website, templates, page rendering, account functionality, broken links, or other technical issues, describe the problem clearly and include the affected page URL.
Technical reports are most useful when they include:

- Screenshots, when useful

IndianPedia may receive communications from public authorities, institutions, organisations, researchers, rights holders, and other parties.
Requests should clearly identify:
- The person or organisation making the request.
- The purpose of the request.
- The relevant IndianPedia page or material.
- The specific action being requested.
- Supporting documentation, where appropriate.
IndianPedia may request additional information before considering a request.
🤝 General enquiries
For general questions about IndianPedia, its community, policies, or development, use the Community portal where possible.
Public discussion is generally preferred because it allows other contributors to see and participate in relevant conversations.

🚨 Urgent matters
For urgent site problems such as widespread vandalism, serious security issues, accidental publication of highly sensitive personal information, or major technical failures, contact an administrator and clearly mark the matter as Urgent.
Where possible, include the affected page and a concise description of the issue.
What not to send
Do not send or publish:

- Authentication codes
- Bank or payment details
- Private identity documents
- Private addresses
- Private telephone numbers
- Confidential business documents
- Sensitive personal information
IndianPedia will not ask you to publish passwords or authentication codes on a wiki page.
