The '''2017 Hero Tri-Nation Series''' was a 3-team [[association football]] tournament held at the [[Mumbai Football Arena]] in the [[India]]n city of [[Mumbai]] between the 19th and 24th of August 2017. The tournament was organized by the [[All India Football Federation|AIFF]] as part of the [[India national football team|senior men team]]'s preparation for [[2019 AFC Asian Cup qualification – Third Round|the third round]] of [[2019 AFC Asian Cup qualification]] matches. <ref name="Tri-nation Series">{{cite web|title=India face Mauritius in Tri-nation Series on August 19|url=http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/sports/football/top-stories/india-face-mauritius-in-hero-tri-nation-series-on-august-19/articleshow/60006886.cms|publisher=Times of India|accessdate=18 August 2017}}</ref> The tournament naming rights were purchased by [[Hero MotoCorp]] which also sponsors the national team.
