'''Cochin College of Engineering and Technology / MGM College of Engineering and Pharmaceutical Sciences''' is a self-financing engineering college affiliated with the [[University of Calicut]] up to 2014 admission<ref>[http://14.139.185.6/website/news/new43.pdf,  Kerala Technological University]</ref> later affiliated with the newly formed technical university, [[A P J Abdul Kalam Technological University]] from 2015 onwards<ref>[https://ktu.edu.in/eu/afn/affiliationInstitutes.htm Affiliated to A P J Abdul Kalam Technological University]</ref> and approved by [[All India Council for Technical Education]] (AICTE), New Delhi. It was established in 2012 at Athipatta, [[Edayoor]] Panchayath near [[Valanchery]] town in [[Tirur]] Taluk in [[Malappuram]] District.

A Public Charitable and Educational Trust manages Cochin College of Engineering and Technology called World Wide Knowledge Foundation having a registered office in [[Valanchery]]. Later it was handed over to the MGM Group of institutions founded by Dr. Geevarghese Yohannan.
