India has a target of developing {{convert|22000|MW|Btu/h|-7|abbr=off|lk=on}} of solar power plants, and an additional {{convert|8000|MW|Btu/h|-7|abbr=off}} is expected in local generation, bringing the total to {{convert|30000|MW|Btu/h|-7|abbr=off}} by 2022.
