Template:Infobox organization Aastha Hospice & Geriatric Care Centre is an Indian charitable organization and research institute registered under section 80G & 12 A of the Income Tax Act 1961. The organization was founded for a noble cause for care and cure for senior citizens.[1][2][3]

History

Aastha Centre for Geriatric Medicine, Palliative Care Hospital & Hospice was established in 2003 by Dr. Abhishek Shukla who is MD (Gold Medalist) from MAAFP USA, Fellow of Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, secretary-general of Association of International Doctors and nominated member to the state council for senior citizens. Dr. Shukla also received a gratitude letter from Hon. Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his work on behalf of his organization.[4][5] It provides care for the elderly in India who are fragile, terminally ill, or suffering from illnesses such as Alzheimer's disease, dementia, stroke, psychiatric ailments, cancer and various old age difficulties including care of bedridden & elders with permanent disabilities.[6]
