Aguner Poroshmoni is a 1994 film based on the novel of the same name[1] written and directed by Humayun Ahmed. The film won National Film Award in eight categories including Best Picture, Best Director and Best Plot.[2] It was the first movie directed by Humayun Ahmed.
About
Humayun Ahmed made his debut as a film-maker by releasing the film. It was a time when the middle-class people of the country had long turned their backs on Bangla cinemas. Unconventional plot, humorous dialogues, lively characters and unique style of story line were the landmarks of the film.[3]
