Template:Infobox Indian politician Father Anthony Murmu was an Indian politician. He was elected to the Lok Sabha from Rajmahal, Bihar as a member of the Janata Party.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8] Murmu was a Jesuit priest.[5][6] He struggled for rights of Santhal tribals.[6]
Murmu was killed in a massacre in Banjhi 19 April 1985 along with 14 other Santhals.[7][8][5]
