Bindu Kumar Thapa (Template:Lang-ne) is a Nepali politician of Nepali Congress and Minister in Gandaki government since 23 July 2021.[1] He is also serving as member of the Gandaki Province Provincial Assembly.[2] Thapa was elected to the 2017 provincial assembly elections from Kaski 2(A).[3] Mr. Thapa is also the only elected member of provincial assembly from Kaski District representing Nepali Congress. He joined Krishna Chandra Nepali cabinet as Minister for Law, Communication and Provincial Assembly Affairs on 23 July 2021.[4]

Personal life

Born and raised in Pokhara, Thapa graduated in law from Prithivi Narayan Campus, Pokhara. Before joining politics, Mr. Thapa was the chairman of Pokhara Chamber of Commerce in industries from the year 2014 to 2016.[5] Mr. Thapa was also the Vice president of Nepal Automobile Dealers Association NADA from 2008-10. He is also the chairman of Ansuvara Group, the leading business house with a magnificent history and investment in an abundant of lucrative ventures established in 1993. Thapa is a popular leader and is renowned for his compassion and philantrhophy .
