Charan Boro (born 1 July 1979) is an Indian politician from Assam associated with the Bodoland People's Front (BPF). He was elected as a Member of the Legislative Assembly of Assam from the Majbat constituency in the 2016 Assam Legislative Assembly election.[1][2]
Early life
Charan Boro was born in the Rangagarah area of Udalguri district in Assam. His father's name is Nabin Boro and his mother's name is Ampuli Boro.Template:Fact
Political career
Charan Boro is a member of the Bodoland People's Front, a regional political party dedicated to the interests of the Bodo people in Assam. He won the legislative assembly seat from Majbat constituency in 2016. His election was part of the larger political representation of Bodoland in Assam's state governance.[3][4][5]
