Citizen Vigilante is a 2026 vigilante action thriller film produced, written, and directed by Uwe Boll. The film stars Armie Hammer as Michael Sanders, a vigilante who, enraged by the breakdown of law and order, targets criminal migrants and corrupt officials.
The film was released in select theaters and digitally on June 19, 2026, but faced significant censorship challenges in Germany where it did not receive an age rating, effectively banning it from wide distribution in the country. However, Elon Musk later released the film on [X (social network)|X]] (formerly Twitter), significantly boosting its international reach and visibility.
