Dheeran Nagar is a neighbourhood in the city of Tiruchirappalli, in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is administered by the Tiruchirappalli City Municipal Corporation.
Geography
Dheeran Nagar is situated in the western part of Tiruchirappalli and lies at an elevation of approximately 94 metres (308 ft) above sea level. It is located at Template:Coord on the banks of the Koraiyar River.
Overview
Dheeran Nagar adjoins the localities of Pirattiyur and Karumandapam. It falls under Ward No. 40 of the Tiruchirappalli City Municipal Corporation. The neighbourhood is also known as Dheeran Chinnamalai Nagar and is named after the Indian freedom fighter Dheeran Chinnamalai.
The locality is predominantly residential and also contains a transport depot. National Highway 83 (formerly part of NH 45), connecting Tiruchirappalli and Dindigul, passes through the area. Dheeran Nagar is well connected by road and comprises approximately 500 to 600 families.

Dheeran Nagar forms part of the Tiruchirappalli West Assembly constituency for the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly and the Tiruchirappalli Lok Sabha constituency for the Lok Sabha.
