Template:Infobox station Durgada Gate railway station (station code:DGDG[1]), is an Indian Railways station in Durgada, a village in East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. It lies on the Vijayawada–Chennai sectionTemplate:Dubious and is administered under Vijayawada railway division of South Coast Railway zone. Eight trains halt in this station every day. History
Between 1893 and 1896, Template:Convert of the East Coast State Railway, between Vijayawada and Template:Stnlnk was opened for traffic.[3] The southern part of the East Coast State Railway (from Waltair to Vijayawada) was taken over by Madras Railway in 1901.[4]
