English: IndiaCoastGuard state-of-art Pollution Control Vessel (PCV) Samudra Pratap was launched by Smt Neeta Seth, in presence of Shri Sanjay Seth, Hon’ble Raksha Rajya Mantri, COMCG(W), DDG(M&M) and CMD, GSL at goashipyardltd Goa today. The ship has been designed and constructed in-house by Goa Shipyard Ltd. #India’s 1st indigenously designed & built Pollution Control Vessel! With 60% indigenous content, this 114.5m vessel enhances oil spill response operations in EEZ and beyond aided by specialized equipment for containment, recovery, separation and dispersal of pollutants.
