Gudlavalleru is a village in Krishna district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.[1] It is located on the Gudivada – Machilipatnam route.
History
Krishna district was formed by renaming Machilipatnam district and adding certain taluks of Guntur district in 1859. Krishna district was divided into Krishna and Godavari districts in 1925. During the reorganisation of Andhra Pradesh Krishna district was further divided into Krishna and NTR districts. [2]
Geography
Gudlavalleru is at Template:Coord.[3] It has an average elevation of 1 metres (6 ft).
Krishna district has 25 mandals spread across three revenue divisions – Machilipatnam revenue division, Gudivada revenue division and Vuyyuru revenue division. [4]
Demographics

The total population constitute, 5,062 males and 5,429 females —a sex ratio of 1073 females per 1000 males. 986 children are in the age group of 0–6 years, of which 758 are boys and 742 are girls. The average literacy rate stands at 79.55% with 7,561 literates, significantly higher than the district average of 73.70%.[5][6]
