Guru Nanak Dev University's campus is spread over Template:Cvt[1] near village of Kot Khalsa, nearly Template:Cvt west of the Amritsar, next to Khalsa College, Amritsar. The Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar has got A grade by scoring 3.85 points in National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) grading, thereby becoming the only University in India to get this score. GNDU is the only State/Central/Private University in India to get this score.. [2]

Awards
The National Assessment and Accreditation Council accredited the university at the five-star level. Later, it was accredited at NAAC Grade "A" with a CGPA of 3.5. Most recently, it has been accredited with NAAC CGPA 3.51, enshrined with the esteemed "University with Potential for Excellence" and "Category - 1 Autonomy" Status by UGC and MHRD respectively. In December 2022 GNDU got A grade again in NAAC by scoring 3.85 score. GNDU is the only State/Central/Private University in India to get this score. [4]
