Hardoi railway station (station code HRI) is a main railway station in Hardoi district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.[1] It has 5 platforms. Hardoi railway station come into existence when a railway line was built in year 1872 From Lucknow to Moradabad Via Hardoi and Chandausi. Later Bareilly-Moradabad line was built in the year 1873 and it become the Main line whereas chandausi line become a loop line.

Hardoi railway station is full with greenery and also you will find many big trees for shed at the platform. Hardoi railway station is a beautiful station. It is a A category station of Northern Railway and serves not only Hardoi city but also serves the people of nearby districts. It is an important Railway Station in Uttar Pradesh. More than 80 trains stops at Hardoi railway station. Some of them are Lucknow Mail Patliputra Express, Garibrath Express, Padmavat Express, Kashi Vishwanath Express , Malda Express Lohit Express , Chandigarh Express , Sealdah-Delhi express, Amritsar Mail, Rajya Rani Express , Doon Express , Rapti-Ganga express , Ganga Satluj Express, Bagh express.
