IFB Home Appliances is a division of IFB Industries Ltd which provides consumer electronic products and services across a range of product categories.[1] It has its manufacturing location in Kolkata, and Verna, India. The company has a chain of ~530 retail outlets called ‘IFB Point’.[2]
History
Originally the company was known as Indian Fine Blanks Ltd, and started operations in India in 1974 in collaboration with Heinrich Schmid AG of Switzerland.[3] The Home Appliances Division started in 1990-91.[4]The factory is based at Visveswariah Industrial Estate, Bengaluru, India.[5]
Products
The company currently offers products for Laundry, Kitchen Solution Products, Living and Industrial solutions along with additives and accessories.[1] It offers appliances such as washing machines, washer dryer, laundry dryer, dishwasher, microwave oven, Chimney, Air Conditioners, hobs, chimneys and other cooking appliances.[6][7]
