Kalikiri is a village in Annamayya district of Andhra Pradesh state in India. It is the Mandal headquarters of the Kalikiri mandal in the Madanapalle revenue division.[1]
History
On the eve of the Republic Day, 2022, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh announced the formation of 13 new districts, taking the total number of districts in Andhra Pradesh to 26. The list of proposed new districts included Annamayya district with its headquarters at Rayachoti.[2][3][4]
