Template:Infobox ethnic group Kanyakubja Brahmins are an endogamous[1] Brahmin community mainly found in northern India. They are classified as one of the Pancha Gauda Brahmin communities native to the north of the Vindhyas.[2]

Social status

In states like Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, they are considered the highest class of Brahmins. Except the areas where Gaurs Brahmins reside like Western Uttar Pradesh[3][4][5][6]
