Kathegara was a Kannada teleserial that aired on DD Chandana in 1996, re-aired on Janasri News on 18 February 2013. The teleserial is based on the story literature such as Vaddaradhane of Shivakotiacharya, Amrut Balli Kashaya written by Jayanth Kaikini and is based on other small stories. It is directed by three people namely T N Seetharam, P. Sheshadri, Nagendra Sha.[1]
