King Khagemba (Conqueror of the Chinese; 1597–1654), was a monarch from the Kingdom of Kangleipak.[1] Eight Brahmins migrated to Meitrabak(Manipur) during his reign.[2] He also introduced a new form of polo and new apparel styles. In his regime he focus on new form of Manipur he build many markets in different place like Ema market. In his regime many Chinese workers build bridges, the present kangla gate was also build by Chinese workers and they also teach to the manipuri how to make bricks. From his time Manipur get money coins very widely, in his regime Muslim was come and he also have good relationships with mughal empire [3]
