The Konkan Kanya Express is mail of Indian Railways train running between Mumbai and Madgaon on the Konkan Railway route.

Background

The train covers the Template:Convert journey in about 13 hours 25 minutes. It is an important train link serving people along the coastal areas of Maharashtra and Goa. Its average speed is Template:Convert. The KJM WDP4B or WDP4 loco is in charge of the train. This train shares its rake with Mandovi Express.

Traction

As the route is not completely electrified, a Hubli based WDP-4 or WDG-4 or Kalyan or Pune based WDP-4D locomotive hauls the train from end to end.
