Koushik Sengupta (born October 10, 1991) is an Indian businessman and a photographer. He is the founder and CEO of Mita Enterprises a spare and motor parts of engines and gears of ships and fishing trawlers manufacturing company.[1] He is also associated with a non-governmental organization called Mother’s Lap wherein he spearheads the fund-raising efforts biannually to arrange the provision of food and clothing for marginalized women and girls.[2] Koushik contributed INR 50,000 to West Bengal Emergency Relief Fund in 2020 and INR 10,000 to UNICEF for the welfare of girl child the same year. These initiatives come after he signed the petition demanding the immediate reinstatement of Pre-Conception and Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques (PCPNDT) Act to save unborn girls in India.[3]

He shoot to fame in 2017, after publishing some pictures on his Instagram handle that he took during a trip to Dubai, which got overwhelming response from his followers.[4][5] He has over 74,000 followers on Instagram.[6]

Early life and education

Koushik was born in August 1991, in Kolkata, West Bengal. He completed his Master’s in Business Administration from Techno India Salt Lake Kolkata, India.[2]
