Kunjargad Fort/ Kombad Fort (Template:Lang-mr) is a fort located Template:Convertfrom Kalyan via Khireshwar. The fort is in Akole taluka in Ahmednagar district, of Maharashtra. The name of the fort is derived from the word “Kunj” meaning elephant in Sanskrit due to its similarity with an elephant.[1]
History
Not much history of the fort is known. Shivaji halted on this fort in 1670.[2]
