The Luwang dynasty is one of the seven ruling clan dynasties in Ancient Manipur (Ancient Kangleipak). The people of the Luwang ancestry forms one of the subsection of the present day Meitei ethnicity.[1][2][3] It is one of the three most powerful dynasties, the others being Ningthouja dynasty and Khuman dynasty.[4]
