The constituency includes Bhadrak and Bhadrak block.[2][3]

2024
Voting were held on 1 June 2024 in 4th phase of Odisha Assembly Election & 7th phase of Indian General Election. Counting of votes was on 4 June 2024.[11] In 2024 election, Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Sitansu Sekhar Mohapatra defeated Biju Janata Dal candidate Prafulla Samal by a margin of 16,068 votes.[10]

In 2019 election, Biju Janata Dal candidate Sanjib Kumar Mallick defeated Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Pradip Nayak by a margin of 33,389 votes.[9]
