Bollapalle is a village in Palnadu district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is the headquarters of Bollapalle mandal in Narasaraopet revenue division.[1] It is the headquarters of Bollapalle mandal.[2]

History

As per Gazettee No. 939 of 26 January 2022, the old Guntur District, formed in 1904, was split into three districts – Guntur, Palnadu and Bapatla.[3]

Geography

Bollapalle is situated at Template:Coord. It is spread over an area of Template:Convert.[1]

Governance

Bollapalle gram panchayat is the local self-government of the village.[4] It is divided into wards and each ward is represented by a ward member.[5]

Education

As per the school information report for the academic year 2018–19, the village has a total of 13 schools. These schools include 8 Zilla Parishad / MPP, one model, one KGBV and 3 private schools.[6]
