D. Sarathkumar (born 1992) is an Indian politician from Tamil Nadu.[1] He is a member of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly from Tambaram Assembly constituency in Chengalpattu district, representing Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam.[2]
Sarathkumar is from Tambaram, Chengalpattu district. He declared assets worth Rs.4.1 crore in his affidavit to the Election Commission of India.[3]
Electoral performance
Sarathkumar became an MLA for the first time making a winning debut in the 2026 Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly election from Tambaram Assembly constituency representing Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam.[4] He polled 1,18,967 votes and defeated his nearest rival, R. S. Krithika Devi of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam, by a margin of 35,621 votes.[5][6]
