Daksum (Kashmiri: ڈکسم, Hindi: डक्सुम ) located in the green forests of Jammu and Kashmir, India at Anantnag-Semthan-Kishtwar road (NH-1B), is a natural scenic spot.
Location
It is located at an altitude of 2,438m above the sea level.Coordinates: 33°36'43"N 75°26'6"E. It is 40 km from the main district headquarters and about 85 km from Srinagar, on the trekking route to Kishtwar. From there the trail leads to Sinthan Pass and Sinthan top.One can take way to sinthan top by reaching vailoo, which is the base camp and from there one can board a cab. Mostly people going to sinthan top use their own lifts. One enjoys the beauty of daksum and dandipora park while going to sinthan top.
