Description
English: en:Gamal Abdel Nasser, former President of Egypt, laughing at the en:Muslim Brotherhood for suggesting that women should be required to wear the hijab and that Islamic law should be enforced across the country. He specifically references compromise attempts in 1953 with the Muslim Brotherhood.

Nasser claims that he tried to make a reproachment with the Muslim Brotherhood in 1953. He made unsubstantiated (and most likely untrue) claims that they demanded the enforcement of headscarves on all women.
