G. P. Venkidu (1935 - 23 September 2020)[1] was an Indian politician who was elected to the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly from the Gobichettipalayam constituency in the 1996 elections. He was a candidate of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) party.[2] He served until 2001. He died in a private hospital in Coimbatore of COVID-19 during the COVID-19 pandemic in India, aged 85.[1]
