Administrators are trusted IndianPedia users who have been granted additional technical permissions to help maintain the project.
Administrative tools are intended to support the encyclopedia and its community. Administrators do not have ownership of articles and should exercise their tools in accordance with IndianPedia's policies, community standards, and applicable procedures.

Administrators may assist with:

Deleting or restoring pages when permitted by IndianPedia policies and procedures.

Managing user permissions and taking appropriate action against abusive accounts.

Maintaining templates, modules, categories, site configuration, and other project infrastructure.

Administrators are expected to:
- Act in good faith and in the interests of IndianPedia.
- Apply policies consistently and fairly.
- Avoid using administrative tools to settle personal disputes.
- Respect the editorial independence of contributors.
- Explain administrative actions when appropriate.
- Protect private or sensitive information.
- Use administrative permissions only when necessary for legitimate project purposes.
Administrative status does not give an administrator editorial ownership over articles.
